NJ Spotlight News: October 12, 2021

The final gubernatorial debate is tonight, Oct. 12, on NJ PBS. Gov. Phil Murphy is vying for a second term and goes into tonight’s debate with a lead in the polls.

Tuesday, officials announced 1,343 positive cases and 15 new deaths. Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 1,019,945 cases in the state and 27,624 confirmed and probable deaths.
