As many black business owners struggle to access support and funding, Google for Startups is stepping up to fill the gap. This week, Rhonda Schaffler sits down with Chisa Egbelu, the co-founder of Newark startup Pedul, as well as Jewel Burks Solomon, head of Google for Startups in the US, to discuss why Google chose to support and mentor Pedul, how Pedul is helping companies find talented and diverse candidates, how the company will use the funding from Google and how other black-owned businesses can find the support and funding they need to grow.
